Easy, Breezy, Beautiful
In the span of 4-5 years, a superstar from Atlanta was plotting. Plotting may mean several things, but in this case plotting meant inhabiting studios in the early hours of the morning, and recording songs for days on end. Another part of this plotting was his presence in the scene. Usually adorned in feminine clothing, or cross-branding the hottest pieces from every well-known fashion house, he was plotting. But then in 2017, the plotting subsided; Young Thug dropped his heavily-requested mixtape BEAUTIFUL THUGGER GIRLS. An experimental album mixing the conventional sounds of pop, country, hip-hop, r&b, and any other genres you deem notable was finally out for Thug zealots to drown in. Thug is infamously known as an alien in the hip-hop world for his unorthodox way of rhyming and his daring appearance that he never shies away from. For this Narrative, I would like to take a couple of tracks from this impeccable album, and write a summarizing screenplay that will allow you to visualize the album in a different light. I mean, this album is unlike anything else you’ve heard from Young Thug, so I think it’s only right to put a creative spin on this piece.
