We all have different ways of expresing ourselves. To some it comes with a nolstagic feeling that sweeps them off their feet, while to others it is a quiet moment of understanding and clarity. There are also those cut between the middle, who even though feel like letting it all out sometimes and going crazy like everyone else, or on the other hand toning it really down, just can't see themselves doing that. Indeed we are all different. But to Sia, full name Sia Isobel Furler, it is more and quite different. It is being too careful or too protective. That feeling you get when you don't want to be perceived as weak or seen as though you actually care, but still want to be perceived as being strong and free. Some people get it after experiencing something bad and terrible, while to others it just comes naturally. It is different, but still is very honest and truthful. It is not wierd nor negative. It is as normal as you can imagine. Sia showed this feeling in the better part of her sixth studio album This Is Acting. That album explores certain aspects of her life that she probably wanted to address and put behind her. Little things like living a free life, the strong feeling of survival, the sound of her voice, the strange topic of love, and many more including how they affect her and are part of her make up. These aspects of her life even though are normal, are described in ways you could possibly have never imagined. Sia went the extra lenght to use words that would probably truly picture exactly how she felt. Words that would show how strong she had become and how determined and brave she had turned out to be. Those words even though may be considered strange by some, did well to give her the representation she desired, and is that not what truly matters? Being in charge of your own life and deciding what happens at each point, and not the other way round?
