Most of the time, artists write about personal experiences or relationships. When it comes to Taylor Swift, everyone is ready to put her head on a spike for writing about exes, but when anyone else does it it’s okay? Well, here is another album about falling out of love and relationships ending. Don’t let me deter you from it from the repetitive nature of theme though, the album is beautiful and amazing in every way. LANY’s debut album, self-titled LANY, is everything that LANY is about and a perfect debut album for the band. It aptly shares their aesthetic and vibes, but maybe overuses the breakup, no love theme. It does house a few really cute and really good love songs though. My favorite track, dare I say, by LANY as a whole, “ILYSB” is the cutest love song that is mushy and gooshy in a good way. It even includes a super cute interlude featuring a mom, so like, what more could you ask for?
