I love to hear beautiful wealthy singers sing about love. I mean, life must be better when your traveling the world and you have money in your pocket. So, wouldn’t this make finding love a lot easier. H.E.R makes trying to find love sound so sexy. She effortlessly flows over these groovy tracks and pleads for some understanding. Why does her music sound so familiar to me but different from anything that I have ever heard? The whole EP screams I want you back in my life.

Gucci Mane is not just one of the funniest rappers in the game, he can also say things I could never get the nerve to say. Sometimes I just listen to him, so I can picture what life would be like if I didn’t care about anything. There is so much power in not caring what people think. That’s what so great about music. Artists like Gucci Mane can take us to places we will never go in real life.

With a title like “thank u, next” I didn’t expect Ariana Grande to have a lot of nice things to say about her ex’s. Don’t get me wrong, this is one of my favorite albums and men can still relate to the scenarios she talks about on the album. But while I was listening to the album, it made me think about what women really thought of me in my past relationships. The album has a let’s have sex and then you go home type of vibe. I enjoyed the whole album but there were a few standout songs to me.
